Scott Beardslee is an accomplished cinematographer, lighting designer and camera operator with over two decades of experience in the industry.Before Scott joined LOCAL 600 / I.A.S.T.E. in 2007, New York City, he worked in the lighting department as Electrician, a Lamp operator with notable directors and artists such as, Alicia Keys, Mob Deep, Martha Stewart, LL cool J, Albert Maysles, Ron Howard, DMX, and Chris Rock but this is where he developed his love for his lighting craft has a DP which is the backbone of his work. Scott's work spans various media genres, including documentaries, music videos, commercials, television series, and narrative films. Notable projects include the documentary “When Comedy went to school”, "The Anniversary of Titanic" with James Cameron for Nat Geo, many music videos "1 + 1" by Beyoncé, The Strokes, Sara Bareilles, and numerous seasons of "Mob Wives" for VH1.Scott has received several awards and festival selections, including the Sundance Selection for "Rope A Dope" and Best Cinematography at both the European International Film Festival and Action on Film International Festival for "Lights Out." He is also skilled in underwater cinematography, aerial photography, and working with a variety of camera systems including 35mm, 16mm, Super 8mm. Scott studied Film Theory at San Francisco State University and continued his Study at The American Film Institute . Scott Beardslee's commitment to his craft and his innovative approach to visual storytelling continue to make him a sought-after professional in the industry.
